FFXI WHEN I RUN A SCRIPT IT CRASHES FULL

Linux creates 4 unique GUI shells, you can run programs that go full screen on each desktop and the only way they interferre with eachother is in the jobs that the processor has to handle. It's like doing something I first saw done in Linux. Like when Internet Explorer crashes and you end it's task then all IEs close, that only happens with the browsers of that type that are open on that single desktop. Proof of the 4 desktops being separate is that you can actually crash a shell in of the desktops and it won't crash that same shell in the other 4 desktops. So if you were to do this method you better have a very good system. There are modified explorer shells you can find that will do this, just be aware though that this does task your system a lot more. In that fashion as far as the system is conserned it's treating it as if it's two computers in 1. You can't even copy and paste between them. In that way FFXI never actually looses focus, in fact the two shells for the most part don't interact with eachother at all. In that way FFXI runs without a windower or anythng on Desktop 1 (Monitor 1) while you browse the internet and all in Desktop 2 (Monitor 2). Another solution is if you know how is to multishell the GUI. Windower is not the end all solution to get dual monitors to work. So without windower a dual monitor setup is doable, but not practical, however you cannot actually use the second monitor at all.Actually that isn't 100% accurate. The second the game looses focus it will kick you out, so a dual monitor seutp only works if you actually use windower how absurd it might sound. Vent so far I had to disable the second monitor while running the game since it shut down FFXI so often. Used dual monitor and no windower for a while, every time the pointer slipped outside the game I got the FFXI error and the game shut down.

I know that FFXI can only run in full-screen without windower (I'm nervous about using something like that if it'll get me banned, don't need Dave on my ass) but didn't know if that would cause problems with a dual-monitor setup, since FFXI would be running full screen on my main monitor? Also, it'd be nice to have windows media player running on the second monitor playing music.nothing against S-E, but I'd rather listen to KoRn or Deftones personally ^^ Would prolly eat up CPU power, but I'm gonna upgrade that soon so hopefully that wouldn't be a big issue for too longThe second the game looses focus it will kick you out, so a dual monitor seutp only works if you actually use windower how absurd it might sound. Any first hand experience? It'd be sweet if I could start a fight to KoRn's "Blind" ^^ PS-I read somewhere that it is possible to substitute different songs into the Playonline folder (provided they were converted to whatever the format of FFXI's music is), and have that play instead of the typical FFXI music. I'm going to be picking up a second monitor in the next day or two, and was wondering if anyone out there had any experience running FFXI with a dual-monitor setup? I'm not looking to spread FFXI over two monitors, but it'd be nice if I could have a web browser open on one monitor so I can look up quests and stuff and have FFXI running on my other one.
